The Auxiliary is in the process of finalizing the specific details, however they do know that the theme of this year's “Christmas Festival” will be in honor of our military service men and women. The Southern Knights Rod and Custom Car Club members have volunteered to sponsor a large tree that will hold decorations, toys, and other items of military memorabilia. In addition, they plan to have five trees decorated in the theme of each military branch (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard). Other events planned during the week will include a Quilt Raffle (tickets on sale now) Wagon filled with Toys Raffle, Silent Auction, Live Auction, and Bunny Bailey Dancers. Although the format of this event has changed, the Auxiliary is very excited about the opportunity to continue giving back to the community during the "Christmas on the Square" week in Leonardtown, and sincerely hope you will join them again this year. All proceeds from this event support the Leonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad. |
