St. Mary’s and Charles Counties cordially invite you to a public meeting to fi nd out more about an important planning
effort just getting underway to preserve and enhance the Religious Freedom Byway. At the meeting you will:
• Learn about opportunities for gaining national designation as part of the Federal Highway Administration’s “America’s
Byways®” program
• Learn about what other communities have been doing along byways in Maryland
• Provide byway planners with your initial thoughts and ideas about how to enhance the byway route for heritage
tourism
