Water/Sewer/Trash Rate Schedule

WATER AND SEWER
Bills are mailed at the end of each calendar quarter. Failure to receive bill does not constitute grounds for non-payment. Finance charges will accrue if full payment is not received by the due date. Service may be cut off for non-payment. A $25.00 late fee will apply if payment is not received by the designated cut-off date.

The $15.00 charge on your bill is the state mandated Bay Restoration Fee.

A drop slot is available at our office at 22670 Washington Street for after hours payment of your bill

HOLIDAYS
Certain holidays will affect the collection schedule. In general, when a holiday is observed by Affordable Refuse and Recycling, Inc., all collection schedules for the remainder of the week following the holiday with slide forward by one day.  This is referred to as “holiday slide”.

The Town’s newsletter, website and social media accounts will be updated to remind residents about changes to collection schedules. Please feel free to call the Town office AT 301-475-9791 if you are unsure of your collection day.

Are you Moving?
If you are planning to move in or out of Town, please contact the Town office promptly. This will allow us to properly prorate your quarterly water, sewer and trash bill.  If an attorney or title company is handling your settlement, they must call the Town office prior to settlement so any outstanding bills can be prorated and included at closing.
